Launching a loyalty app for the industry leader

As the fastest growing car wash chain in the US, Mister wanted to develop a companion mobile app to attract new customers and assist existing members.

 

A discovery workshop was held to discuss ideas with current and potential customers and align the use occasion for a Mister Car Wash app. Empathy mapping was used to uncover the real motives behind a user’s reason for holding a membership. As-is journey mapping was used to determine what users think, do, and feel when visiting Mister locations. Key feature sets were derived and the mobile application took shape. Screens were tested with potential users and adjusted based on feedback. Annotated wireframes were created to ensure a smooth development handoff.
